The Formica Design Award 2007/08 is an exciting competition for emerging designers. Set in the context of a sports stadium, the competition gives designers the opportunity to let their skills shine. Entrants must choose one of four categories (main entrance, public washrooms, VIP hospitality suite, or retail space) and design specific elements for the area or the whole scheme as desired.

The competition is open to all emerging designers in the UK and Ireland and will close at the end of February 2008.

You are invited to put your knowledge and design talents to the test! Interzinc offers an exciting competition -- created only for engineering and design students. If you will be enrolled at a college or university in the 2007-2008 academic year - you can take part in this exciting competition.

After registering on this website, you will receive a disc "Zinc: the designers choice" along with a questionnaire.  You will be asked 50 questions about zinc; all the answers are on the CD.  When completed, send to Interzinc before the February 29th deadline.  Those that score 70% or better will continue on to the design portion of the competition.
